The cool breeze gently pressed against my cheeks and I just cannot explain how good it felt. I was at the mall last Saturday with my fiance` and we had a splendid time buying Christmas gifts for our friends and families. The long Christmas list dangled down from my back pocket when I reached for my worn-out Girbaud wallet. Suddenly I felt the need to buy myself a new wallet. But if I buy a new wallet, I wont be able to buy someone a gift and I just thought, “Oh what the heck. I’ll just buy my wallet on the next payday.”
After walking for several hours, our arms suddenly got occupied by plastic bags full of gifts. We were so tired that we had to sit down in front of a restaurant. Then she suddenly blurted out.. “Honey, I’m hungry.” I was like, “Hey, haven’t you had enough food already!?” Oh well, let’s get seated. I ordered Salisbury steak for both of us. It was a good heavy meal actually but after walking for such a long time, I felt as though I’m still hungry. I said to myself, “Oh no you don’t! Don’t even think about ordering another rice, fatso.” I had to drag my fat butt out of that restaurant before I get to order something that would waste my money and increase my waistline.
We finally got home at around 7PM. After a nice petite dinner, we started wrapping those gifts inside our room. It was funny how we enjoyed wrapping gifts and naming them one by one. We were like kids teasing and laughing and tickling each other.
After wrapping those gifts we lay down to call it a day. As I moved my head, I saw the pile of gifts that we just wrapped and I caught sight of my wallet. Suddenly I realized that giving is way too much better than receiving. Throughout the year I always thought of myself first before the sake of others. I just realized that I never thought of myself that day. And man, that felt so good.

so here’s what Jemms bribe is worth…. I’m still waiting for the sequel of that story you sent me way back when we were still at CS training. Was Oliver the inspiration behind it? Anyway it was kinda fishy that’s why I ask, coz I remember that one time when…….HMP HMP HMP ( Oliver covering my mouth).
Comments, well I would like to ask you to change all the lavenders inside the page, leave the background as is. The image on the banner is great. The content, I leave that to you since you’re the authority on those.
Christmas is fast approaching and we dont even have a christmas party planned. Or should we all just celebrate it on the “Sands beneath the STARS” I think that would be better… LOL
Anyway, good luck on the new job, hope you could stay longer than expected. Dont forget to treat us to dinner on your first payout. Cant think of anything else to say. I’ll just text you when I have “something good”.
Merry Christmas to all of us!
Ahhhhh!!! Christmas Time. I also remember last year when me and my wife went through the hustle and bustle of going to every tiangge to get the best bargain. We wanted to give everyone what they wanted. That’s why we endured the long lines and the endless traffic that seems to accompany the Christmas season every year. But, alas, I’ll be braving this ordeal alone this year because my wife’s out of the country trying to give our family a better life. You’re very lucky that you have your fiance with you and that you have finished your christmas shopping already. While I still have to figure out what to give and where to buy them. But now I’m really excited to see my daughter wake on on Christmas morning to see her stocking fileld with gifts from ol’ Saint Nick. Just hope I wont get caught in the Chrsitmas Rush.
Hey Jaypee,
Thanks for the comment. Anyway, I cant change those lavenders as much as I want to. It comes with the blog’s template. Heck, I cant even change the CSS! Dont worry bro, if I get more money, I’ll buy a domain to house my blog so that I could design it the way I like it. Hehe! Cheers and merry christmas to your family as well.
Oliver thanks for the comment. I hope princess doesnt find out ol’ St. Nick is also ol’ Oliver. hehe. Cheers man!
Lol. I dont even know why I was asked to do a rheme here. Am I one of the friends?
Very kind. Knows responsibilty, I assume. And very hard working. A person who only know to say qualities that are desirable, esp to his “friends”, nah that wont work to me. But you have good friends though. He’s a worthy of trust which is very rare to a lot of guys. From the stories he shared from his past to present, I could also say that he is totally devoted. Oh who would not know, he loves his “IT thing”, not a geek but mentally acute. Golly, you owe me a lot for this. A website will do it. Keep in touch. Merry Christmas!
Hey there! Great comment! I’ll tell Rob you said hi. hehe. keep it real.
nice…. so where’s my gift???
I dunno what to say… What a touchy article… I never had that moment for such a long time now and I can’t even remember that moment spending christmas shopping with my loved one…
Jesus is the reason for the season, so what do we give him?
